Welcome! I'm Jason - a Minnesota native who found a true passion for astrophotography in Australia.

After 27 years in the US Marine Corps, I discovered peace and creativity beneath Australia’s breathtaking night skies. What began as a personal escape became a lifelong pursuit, one that led to winning the Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year (Astrophotography Category) in both 2022 and 2023.

Through my astrophotography workshops and one-on-one sessions, I share six years of night-sky photography experience, a Fine Art degree in Photography, and over 20 years of teaching expertise. My goal is to help you learn astrophotography, master editing techniques, and capture the stars with confidence.
