Astrophotography Workshops

What started as a hobby became my life’s mission. I want to make Astrophotography accessible to everyone, regardless of their experience level which is the driving force of these photography workshops. I want to teach the wonders of night photography within the breathtaking landscapes of Australia and inspire each and every one of the participants that they can create amazing art with a little guidance.

Come on a journey to the north west of Melbourne, Australia. Lake Tyrrell is home to Victoria’s largest salt lake and is renowned to be one of Australia’s best spots for star navigation. Our workshop is sure to inspire and help you capture that once in a lifetime photograph.

Located in western Victoria, Australia, Lake Toolondo is well known as a popular trout fishing spot. What people don’t know it the spectacular backdrop it provides for night photography. The hauntingly beautiful sight of the dead trees in the lake will surprise even the most seasoned photographer.

    Jason's Lake Toolondo workshop was an amazing way to learn how to capture the night sky. It was a mix of adventure and beautiful locations in nature, plus practical camera and photoshop skills. There was a lot to learn, but Jason was very patient and provided support material afterward to practice on my own. I now have all these new creative options for my photography. Totally worth it and I look forward to next time at a new location."
